Saudi Arabia (Sadaatweb news) The Chief of the Haramain Presidency, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, has said in a statement that the Haram Sharif will be opened soon for Umrah, Tawaf and prayers. It may be recalled that in order to prevent the spread of the corona virus, the entry of ordinary worshipers  into the  Haramain Sharifain was banned last month. Limited persons were allowed to enter for the Tawaf of Baitullah Sharif and only the staff working in the Haram participated in the prayers while the principle of social distance during the prayers is also strictly followed. ۔

On the other hand, the same procedure was followed in Masjid Nabavi and only a limited number of staff were attending the prayers.

A protective fence has been erected around the Kaaba due to the corona virus, which was previously closed due to security measures. Due to the epidemic, iftar meals at Masjid al-Haram and Masjid al-Nabawi are also banned during Ramadan, instead ration bags are being distributed to deserving people. The number of people infected with Corona in Saudi Arabia has exceeded 21,000, of whom 157 have died.
