The Moon Of Muharram Has Appeared in Pakistan, Ashura Will Be On Sunday, August 30

Karachi: The moon of Muharram has appeared, after which the first Muharram will be on Friday 21st August and Ashura on Sunday 30th August.

The Islamic year 1442 AH has also begun after the appearance of the moon of Muharram.

Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, Chairman, Ruwit-e-Hilal Committee, chaired a meeting of the Central Ruwit-e-Hilal Committee in Karachi.

The meeting was also attended by members of Central and Zonal Routet Hilal Committees and evidence of Muharram moon sighting was received from Islamabad.

After the meeting, Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman announced the sighting of the moon.
