LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that the South African cricket team will visit Pakistan in January next year. This will be the first visit of the visiting team to Pakistan in 14 years.
Meanwhile, the two teams will face each other in three T20 International matches and two Test matches. and the 2 Test matches in this series will be part of the ICC World Test Championship.
The visiting team will arrive in Karachi on January 16 to participate in the series. The first Test of the series will be played at the National Stadium Karachi from January 26 to 30, after which the South African team will leave for Rawalpindi for play the 2nd Test match starting February 4.
All three T20 Matches of the Series will Be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore Pakistan.
The matches will take place on February 11, 13 and 14.
Arriving in Pakistan to participate in the tour, the South African team will complete its quarantine period in Karachi, after which they will be allowed to participate in training sessions and intra-squad practice matches.
The first tour of the South African cricket team to Pakistan since 2007- and before Pakistan and' South Africa Teams played in Pakistan home' series in the UAE in 2010 - 2013.
A total of eleven (11 )Test series have been played between pakistan and south africa teams since' 1995 - Seven of the 11 were won by South Africa and one by Pakistan. Therefore- under the leadership of Babar Azam - the Pakistan cricket team will now have a golden opportunity to beat South African in the Test series after eighteen years.
This will be the 1st time that the two teams will ever meet in a T20 match series in Pakistan. Earlier' South Africa had won both the T20 series played' in the united Arab emirate.

He said: that of course the South African cricket team last visited Pakistan in 2007, but despite' this there is still a Large number of lovers of south African team in Pakistan.
Zakir Khan said: that it is a good development that PCB will make a great start to the starting year 2021 by hosting the South African team- he said that we have to host New Zealand - England' and West Indies in the this year after South Africa. In the same year, he said that the Pakistan has to participate in the Asia Cup and ICC Men's T20 Cricket World Cup 2021.
He said that the year 2020 was a challenging year due to the outbreak of Corona virus but Pakistan Cricket Board has successfully hosted 60% of its matches in the season 2020-21- and hoped that Zakir Khan- says that we will leave no stone unturned' to ensure the Health and Safety of the squads of Pakistan and South Africa for the success of this series 2021.
